If faith was a rollercoaster, I'd want you to sit next to me

According to a dear friend of mine Jon, Love is defined not by all the lovey dovey feelings that are there initially, but rather sticking with the relationship when all the feelings aren’t there. Profound? It inspired me to fix up my old crappy poem from myspace so here it is.

---

I know that is sounds kind of old and may sound a little cliché,
but I know there is the “The One” person who is meant for me.
Holding thoughts dear to my heart,
the that the day that I would finally meet you feels like an eternity.
To think of the joy and care I would give her,
waiting, moment by moment for the time that our two very different lives will cross paths.
We would share moments relating our characteristics,
but also learning to accept the beauty of our differences.
Though understanding may sometimes be hard to come by,
we will both know regardless that our first love will keep us strong.
The hardships will come our way and times may seem dim,
I know that you’d stick with me right to the end.
I don’t know who you are, and I don’t know when I’ll meet you,
But I know when I meet you that this is what I have been waiting for.
Readers, family and friends, you probably question “why are you writing this? What is the motivation?”
The simple answer is I know “Good love is on the way” – John Mayer
Who it is? I do not know.
It could be anyone, it might even be the person reading right now.
But who ever it is I cant wait to meet you.

Peter.
